This morning the thought “He Makes All Things New” kept going through my mind. As I pondered this thought, I realized how much it applies to us right where we are. I thought about the verse that says His mercies are new every morning. Not only does each morning bring us a new day, but every hour, every minute, and every second are new. Revelation 21:5 says “Behold, I am making all things new.” When Christ returns, all things will be new.
Even today, He continually makes all things new.
Psalm 40:3, “He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God.”
2 Cor 5:17, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
Ephesians 4:23-24, “be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.”
Unhappy in your job? Give it to God, and let Him make it NEW.
Unhappy with your marriage? You don’t need a different spouse; you just need to let God make the one you have NEW.
Unhappy with certain habits? Let God make them NEW.
If you don’t like your life, let God make it NEW.
Renew your mind and renew your life.
Psalm 51:10, “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.”
Isaiah 40:31, “but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.”
I don’t know about you, but I want to soar like an eagle and run and not be weary.
Ezekiel 36:26, “I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you.”
Romans 12:2, “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”
2 Cor. 4:16, “Though our outer self is wasting away our inner self is being renewed day by day.”
Immerse yourself in God’s Word renewing your mind to what He says, and let Him make you New.
It’s a New Year. It’s a New You. In what areas do you need to be renewed?
