Picking up the Pieces

Have you ever worked a 5,000 piece Jigsaw puzzle? Okay, what about a 1,000 or 500-piece puzzle? It’s great when you can look at the front of the box and know what your final objective is. You simply complete the border and fill in the middles. You might even have others help you.
What if someone took 1,000 pieces from 5 different 5,000 piece puzzles and put them together in the same box. It wouldn’t matter how hard you worked, you wouldn’t be able to put the puzzle together. The pieces wouldn’t fit.
Sometimes life is like this. People dump the wrong pieces into your box of life and you inevitably lose a few pieces along the way. We can’t put the pieces together. All we can do is pick up the pieces and put them back in the box in a jumbled mess.
God has a plan for putting the pieces of your life together. He has a perfect plan that you or someone else have more than likely messed up. But he can also give you a Plan B, or Plan C, or Plan D, or Plan E. In fact he isn’t limited by the 26 letters of the alphabet.
No matter where you are in your life and no matter how many times you have messed up and had different puzzle pieces dumped into your box of life, you can pick up the pieces and give them to God. He, and only He, can put them together into a beautiful picture.
Call to Him. He is waiting for you to give him your box of life. He is the God who works wonders , and with God all things are possible (See Psalm 77:14 and Matthew 19:26).
